Volunteer sailors from the Cornish Maritime Trust (CMT) set sail from Newlyn today on an epic six week voyage aboard a unique 143 year old wooden boat.
‘Historic Cornish lugger, the 143 year old mackerel boat, Barnabas, set off from Newlyn yesterday with volunteer sailors from Cornish Maritime Trust on a 1,000 mile, six week living heritage educational voyage which will involve collecting new masts in Scotland’. Greg Martin.
