Keep the Heart of Cornwall’s Maritime Heritage Beating
The Cornish Maritime Trust isn’t just about looking back; it’s about keeping our history active and under sail. We are a community of enthusiasts, sailors, and historians dedicated to preserving the traditional working boats of Cornwall. Keeping 19th-century wooden vessels sea-worthy is a labour of love that requires constant investment and you can support us in that endeavour.
Where Your Money Goes
We pride ourselves on being a volunteer-led organisation, meaning your donation goes exactly where it’s needed:
- Traditional Materials
- Specialist Skills
- Modern Safety Equipment
- Education
Your donation directly supports the maintenance and restoration of our historic boats. From the iconic 1881 St Ives lugger Barnabas to the charming Softwing, your generosity ensures these vessels continue to grace the waters of Falmouth, Mount’s Bay and beyond.
The Cornish Maritime Trust is entirely volunteer-led and our vital work is only possible through your generous donations.
Thank you for your support!
